Job summary

Frontier Dermatology invites skilled medical professionals to join our Portland primary location as a Certified Medical Assistant. Travel to Vancouver may be required; mileage reimbursed.

Typical schedule is varied Tuesdays–Fridays, 7:30am–5:00pm, supporting dermatology procedures and patient care. We offer comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401k matching up to 4%, life insurance, paid holidays, PTO, free parking, and employee assistance programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification.
• 1–3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent.
• Certification through the WA State Dept of Health strongly preferred, exceptions may apply for Registered MA depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist providers in procedures.
• Provide patient education and daily patient tasks.
• Maintain a fast-paced, organized clinic workflow.
• Support front and back-office tasks as needed.

Position Details:

• Overview: Do you enjoy assisting providers in procedures, learning all about a specific specialty, and getting to do a variety of tasks in a clinic setting? Join our team as a dermatology Medical Assistant!
• Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
• Location: Portland primary location, travel required once a week to Portland and possible travel to Vancouver (mileage reimbursed)
• Typical Schedule: Varied Tuesdays - Fridays, 7:30am - 5:00pm

Qualifications:

• Must either be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, a Certified or Registered MA, or a Certified Derm Tech
