Frontier Dermatology invites skilled and dedicated professionals to join our team as a Medical Assistant at our Astoria location, with training weeks at other Frontier sites (travel reimbursed).

Typical duties include rooming patients, assisting providers in dermatology procedures, patient education, and daily patient tasks in a fast-paced clinic. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow in a respected medical practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or a Certified/Registered MA or Certified Derm Tech.
• HS Diploma or GED; 1–3 months healthcare experience or trade school equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinic; assist with procedures and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for procedures.
• Assist providers during dermatology procedures.
• Provide patient education and complete daily tasks.
• Maintain patient flow and ensure accurate charting.

• Job Title: Medical Assistant
• Location: Astoria primary location, training weeks required at other Frontier locations (travel reimbursed)
• Typical Schedule: Varied Mondays 8:30am - 5:30pm, Tuesdays - Thursdays, 8:00am - 5:00/5:30pm
