Job summary

Frontier Dermatology invites skilled professionals to join our Albany clinic as a Medical Assistant, with anticipated travel to Salem every other Friday and potential coverage at additional MidValley locations. You will support providers, room patients, and help with patient education in a fast-paced dermatology setting.

Ideal candidates have an accredited Medical Assisting program or MA certification, plus strong customer service and organizational skills for daily tasks and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program or a certified/registered MA or certified Derm Tech.
• HS Diploma or GED; 1-3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment; duties include rooming patients and assisting in procedures.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist during procedures.
• Support providers in dermatology procedures and daily patient tasks.
• Educate patients and manage routine clinic responsibilities.

• Overview: Do you enjoy assisting providers in procedures, learning all about a specific specialty, and getting to do a variety of tasks in a clinic setting? Join our team as a dermatology Medical Assistant!
• Job Title: Medical Assistant
• Location: Albany primary, anticipated travel to Salem every other Friday, but must be willing to travel to all MidValley locations if needed
• Typical Schedule: Off Wednesdays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, 8:00am - 5:00pm
