Compensation

Salary Range: $23.63 - $31.94 / hour

The pay range above represents the lowest and highest possible rates. Factors influencing placement within the range include employee skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and comparison to current employees. Typically, new hires are placed below the midpoint of the range.

Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently, depending on the position, experience, and shift commitment, with potential PRN differentials.

Responsibilities

Position Overview: To provide safe, efficient, and therapeutic patient care under supervision of a physician and nurse in the Clinic setting. The Medical Assistant will perform routine tasks to care for patients within the Centers for Family Health.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant diploma or certificate from a recognized training program
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (e.g., CMA, CCMA, NCMA, RMT, AAMA ABROE) or eligibility to sit for exam within 30 days of hire
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Preferred:

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Bilingual in Spanish
