Compensation

Salary Range: $23.63 - $31.94 / hour

The pay range above represents the lowest and highest possible rates for the position. Factors influencing starting pay include skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to current employees. Typically, new hires are placed below the midpoint of the range.

PRN positions have different pay calculations, depending on factors like experience and shift commitments, with potential differential added.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Provide safe, efficient, and therapeutic patient care under supervision of licensed physicians and nurses in the Clinic setting. Perform routine tasks to care for patients within the Centers for Family Health.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant diploma or completion certificate from an accredited program
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, RMT, AAMA ABROE) or eligibility to sit for exam within 30 days
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred:

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Bilingual in Spanish
