As a Medical Assistant, you will support patient care and ensure smooth clinic operations. Your responsibilities include assisting physicians during procedures, managing patient interactions, and maintaining clinical areas. You will also handle administrative tasks such as scheduling and insurance verification. This part-time position requires working on Monday, Thursday, and Friday at our Brentwood clinic.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet patients and assist with forms and escorting to examination rooms.
2. Use clinic computer hardware and software according to policies.
3. Schedule appointments and coordinate patient needs.
4. Verify insurance eligibility with providers.
5. Perform clerical duties like copying, filing, and faxing.
6. Address patient questions and needs, ensuring excellent service.
7. Maintain cleanliness and readiness of procedure rooms.
8. Assist during Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures as per doctor instructions.
9. Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-procedure instructions.
10. Monitor and replenish supplies.
11. Train new staff as needed.
12. Assist ultrasound staff and transport supplies when required.
13. Work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
14. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Medical Assistant Certification: CMA, RMA, or CCMA (a plus).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills.
• Willingness to travel out of state for two weeks of training.
• Availability to work Monday, Thursday, and Friday at Brentwood clinic.
