Job summary

InVia Fertility is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Hoffman Estates clinical team. You will support all phases of infertility treatment, perform phlebotomy, assist physicians, and coordinate care through EMR documentation.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year medical experience, a calm empathetic presence, and flexibility for occasional weekend shifts and travel to nearby clinics. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a medical setting, women's health experience is a plus.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; training provided if needed.
• Comfort with EMR systems and basic computer skills.
• Calm, empathetic presence and strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to occasionally work weekends and travel to nearby clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinical staff across all phases of infertility treatment.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Support physicians during procedures.
• Manage patient communication and telephone triage.
• Coordinate procedure scheduling and room preparation.
• Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and the lab.
• Review lab results with physicians and follow up with patients.
• Prepare treatment documents and complete insurance health forms.
• Support patient education on fertility care and surgical procedures.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR.
• Develop a working knowledge of ultrasound equipment.
