Job summary

InVia Fertility Specialists in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join a compassionate team delivering fertility care. The RN will support patients from intake through procedures, perform phlebotomy, assist during procedures, and ensure accurate health documentation.

This full-time role requires Monday–Friday hours with weekend rotation and occasional cross-location duties at Arlington Heights or Northbrook. ACLS/CPR current; IL RN license; strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois.
• AS degree in Nursing (or equivalent).
• ACLS and CPR certification current.
• Basic PC proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Assist physicians during procedures in a fast-paced setting.
• Support clinical staff with telephone triage.
• Complete health documentation for insurance processing.
• Serve as liaison between clinical staff and laboratory services.
• Review lab results with physicians, patients, and embryology team.
• Train in ultrasound operation and IUI procedures.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am-4:00 pm, with weekend rotation (about once a month) and some occasional opportunity to perform your duties at nearby locations such as Arlington Heights or Northbrook.

What You'll Do

You will be a vital part of the patient experience from day one — not just checking boxes, but truly making a difference at every step of the fertility journey. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection with precision and care
• Assisting physicians during procedures in a fast-paced, collaborative setting
• Supporting clinical staff with telephone triage
• Completing health documentation for insurance processing
• Serving as the key liaison between clinical staff and laboratory services
• Reviewing lab results alongside physicians, patients, and the embryology team
• Training in ultrasound operation and IUI procedures — expanding your clinical skill set
• Educating and empowering patients through all aspects of infertility care and surgery
• Coordinating and scheduling surgical procedures with hospital teams
• Performing pap smears and vaginal cultures with proficiency and sensitivity

What You Bring

• An active Registered Nurse license with an AS Degree in Nursing in the State of Illinois
• Experience in a women's health setting, preferred
• Current ACLS and CPR certification
• Basic PC proficiency
• A warm, patient-first mindset and a love of teamwork
