They assist with both clinical and administrative tasks, contributing to the efficient operation of the practice.**Locations**: Texan Eye Balcones, Texan Eye Cedar Park, and Texan Eye Mopac**Work Hours**: Monday to Friday 8AM - 5PM# **Roles and Responsibilities*** Ability to perform specialized eye exam testing while streamlining patient flow.* Other diagnostic testing such as: Visual Aids, OCT, Corneal topography, etc...* Providing phone support with request for prescription refills as authorized by the physician.* Educate patients regarding administration of medications and pre- and post-operative instructions as directed by physician.* Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, such as HIPPA guidelines, to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.* Assists with opening and closing duties.* Other duties as assigned.# **Experience Requirements*** One-year experience in a customer facing position preferred* Medical related experience preferred* Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel* Proficient in use of internet# **Education Requirements*** High school diploma or GED preferred# **Physical Demands*** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
