Location: Arlington, TX 76017 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Terms: Contract to Hire Rate: $20.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to support healthcare providers in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with clinical procedures, administering vaccines, and managing patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to healthcare providers in patient care.
• Prepare and room patients, ensuring vital signs are accurately recorded.
• Administer injections and vaccines following proper protocols.
• Assist providers with minor medical procedures as needed.
• Manage and monitor electronic phone messages and prescription refills, adhering to established policies.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or 3+ years of experience
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
• Proficient computer skills for handling electronic medical records efficiently.
  
  

Certifications Required:

• Medical Assistant certification.

Work Environment & Requirements:

• Scrub Color: Solid color scrubs required.
• Travel: No travel required; work will be conducted at a single location.
