Job summary

OneOncology is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to ensure timely processing of health insurance claims across multiple carriers. This role reports to the A/R Manager and requires meticulous attention to detail and strong communication with providers and payers.

Key duties include staying current with carrier websites, handling appeals documentation, and maintaining claims with an average 35-day outstanding period. Five years of medical billing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of Medical Billing and insurance claim filing experience.
• Ambulatory Surgical/Procedures/Urology experience preferred.
• Familiarity with medical billing software.

Responsibilities

• Keep current on carrier websites and information related to the practice.
• Process insurance carrier correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
• Compose and prepare documentation for appeals.
• Organize information and files to meet project deadlines.
• Prepare special claim projects and maintain logs.
• Identify non-payment trends or procedural roadblocks and report to Supervisor.
