MedStar Health is seeking a patient account follow-up representative to ensure accurate accounts receivable reporting. You will follow up with insurance payers, communicate issues to management, and contribute to collection strategies aimed at reducing outstanding A/R.

You will assist in monthly AR analyses, meet KPIs, and train staff on billing procedures, claims submission, and payer communications as part of a collaborative reimbursement team.

Qualifications

• Verbal and written communication skills required.
• Knowledge of billing and collection processes.
• Familiarity with CPT/ICD-10 coding and payer requirements.

Responsabilités

• Follow up with payers to secure timely payments.
• Prepare AR analyses for management review.
• Meet KPIs for open receivables, cash collections and high-dollar accounts.
• Provide training and guidance to staff as requested.
