Job summary

Penn Medicine Cherry Hill is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Representative to maximize revenue for the practice by managing collections from third party payers. You will support the practice manager and providers with a patient-focused approach, contributing to high-quality care and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities include processing AR workqueues, pursuing payments, negotiating payment plans, reviewing denials, monitoring changes in payer policies, and meeting productivity targets.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
• 4+ years Experience working within medical office environments. (Required)
• 1+ years Experience in physician billing responsibilities or accounts receivable management (Strongly Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and effectively manages Accounts Receivable using established workqueues and process flows.
• Proactively works with co-workers to collect on monies due as part of patient responsibility.
• Identifies and tracks third party rejection types to determine rejection patterns.
• Monitors changes to third party reimbursement policies and billing procedures.
• Reviews, processes and challenges all rejections and denials escalating notable trends.
