Responsibilities

• Confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments as needed.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorizations; communicate financial responsibilities.
• Coordinate with clinical departments to optimize scheduling and patient flow.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information per HIPAA and policies.
• Document scheduling activities and interactions promptly in the EHR.
