Job summary

TALENT Software Services in Richmond, VA is seeking a Systems Analyst/QA Manager for the HR1 Medicaid project. The role leads all QA activities, coordinating with state agencies, business teams, and external vendors to ensure Medicaid compliance.

You will own SIT, UAT, and E2E testing for MMIS and MES modules, manage defect triage with vendors, and develop test data and cases while reporting progress through metrics.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing UAT, defect triage, and cross-team coordination.
• Proven ability to design test strategies and oversee E2E testing across systems.
• Experience coordinating with state agencies, vendors, and PMO offices.
• Knowledge of Medicaid MES modules and COTS integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full testing lifecycle including design, planning, execution, and reporting.
• Coordinate testing with business teams to gather user scenarios and test cases.
• Maintain defect management and verify data integrity across systems.
• Identify risks early and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
• Oversee SIT, UAT, and E2E testing for MMIS and MES modules; validate COTS apps.
• Lead defect triage calls with multiple vendors and track defects to closure.
• Develop test cases and data; validate changes and liaise between dev and users.
• Report progress with test summaries and execution metrics.
• Escalate and track UAT defects through resolution; maintain historical data.
