Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a System Analyst/QA Manager for the HR1 Medicaid project in Richmond, VA. The role leads all QA activities, coordinating with state agencies, business teams and vendors to manage SIT, UAT and E2E testing across MMIS, MES, and COTS systems.

Strong mainframe background and comprehensive test planning, data preparation and defect triage are essential. The position is hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 remote) in the Richmond area, with responsibilities spanning test strategy,

Qualifications

Significant experience managing QA activities and the full testing lifecycle.
Experience coordinating SIT/UAT/E2E across multiple systems, vendors, and teams.
Experience with Medicaid MES/MMIS and COTS applications.
Mainframe experience is required.
Ability to develop test cases and test data, verify changes, and troubleshoot issues.

Responsibilities

Lead all QA activities for the project, including test strategy, planning, execution, and reporting.
Coordinate testing with business teams, vendors, and agencies, ensuring traceability and coverage.
Manage SIT, UAT, and E2E testing for MMIS and MES modules and configured COTS apps.
Maintain defect management processes and track defects to resolution.
Ensure data integrity across integrated systems and maintain QA documentation.
