Brunswick County in North Carolina seeks an Income Maintenance Caseworker III to support the Family and Children Medicaid Review Program. The role involves completing second-party case reviews, managing reports, identifying error trends, and assisting with staff training to maintain program accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, referring cases to the help desk, entering data into NC FAST, and providing support for vacant caseloads.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited associate degree program in Human Services Technology, Social Services Associated, Paralegal Technology, Business Administration, Secretarial, or a closely related curriculum; or
• Graduation from high school and two years of paraprofessional, clerical, or other public contact, which included negotiating, interviewing, explaining information, gathering and compiling of data, analysis of data and/or performance of mathematical program; or
• An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Complete second-party case reviews and manage reports to ensure accuracy.
• Identify error trends and assist with staff training to improve timeliness and quality.
• Troubleshoot issues, refer appropriate cases to the help desk, and maintain the help desk log.
• Enter data into NC FAST and support vacant caseloads as needed.
• Be available to work after normal business hours and during emergency situations.

High school diploma + 2 years paraprofessional/clerical/public contact experience
