Job summary

Alamance County Government seeks an Income Maintenance Caseworker III in the Quality Assurance team to ensure Food and Nutrition Services are delivered accurately and efficiently. You will review work, identify improvement opportunities, and support staff and families in need, becoming a champion for accuracy and continuous improvement.

You’ll collaborate with QA supervisors, trainers, and caseworkers to prevent errors, maintain confidential records, and participate in program reviews and policy

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college/university; or an associate degree in Human Services Technology, Social Services, Business Administration, or related field; or high school with relevant public contact experience.
• Two years of additional income maintenance experience preferred, plus NC driver's license.
• Experience with Windows suite products and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for public assistance.
• Conduct case reviews for accuracy, timeliness, and policy compliance.
• Provide feedback to caseworkers and supervisors on errors and policy concerns.
• Document findings according to reporting requirements and prepare action plans.
