Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience as an Income Maintenance Caseworker with Family and Children's Medicaid applications and recertifications, or equivalent training/experience.
• Thorough knowledge of income maintenance programs and state/federal policy.
• Strong mathematical reasoning and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed audits and second-party reviews of applications, recertifications, and case changes completed within the Family and Children's Medicaid Unit.
• Collaborate with supervisors to communicate trends, identify areas for improvement, and recommend training or corrective action.
• Assist in preparing for state audits and compiling required documentation for auditors/monitors.
• Develop, update, and deliver training materials for new hires and current staff.
• Provide new hire and refresher training for staff.
• Complete second-party reviews at 100% for new hire/probationary staff.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and agency policy changes across all Economic Services programs.
• Offer guidance to staff on program policies, regulations, and NCFAST procedures and assist with casework as needed.
