Job summary

LSU New Orleans seeks a Department Policy Training professional to conduct general Medicaid policy training with hands-on classroom experiences for staff through seminars and classes. You will develop courses on Medicaid policies and procedures, including online courses and webinars, and update LMS content.

You will secure venues, prepare materials, and manage setup/teardown for trainings; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of professional experience in lieu of degree.
• Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.
• Great attention to detail and follow up, and verbal/written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Medicaid policy training for staff through seminars and classes.
• Develop and update training materials and LMS content.
• Coordinate venues and travel as required for trainings.
• Prepare materials for trainings and assist in webinar-based sessions.
• Support special-topic seminars as requested by state officials.
