Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 3 years of professional experience with a degree.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience with federal/state healthcare programs, Medicaid support, or related field.
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent analytical abilities, effective organizational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Works well both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to set, follow, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Acts as subject matter expert relative to Louisiana Rulemaking, State Plan, and Medicaid Administrative activity.
• Coordinates publication of Rulemaking and State Plan documents on the agency website and maintains compliance with legislative requirements.
• Consults with LDH webmaster and Policy staff to ensure timely publication and archival of mandated documents.
• Utilizes CMS state-facing systems and transitions documents to MACPro, OneMAC, MACFin and MMDL.
• Identifies and resolves duplications in State Plan as new modules deploy.
• Collaborates with Rulemaking staff to adjudicate issues identified by program staff and CMS.
• Participates in research requests from program staff, legal staff, and external parties.
• Assists in reviewing promulgated rules, notices of intent, and fiscal documents for regulatory compliance.
• Facilitates publication of public notices in newspapers and online.
• Monitors federal/state updates and keeps Policy staff informed and compliant.
