Job summary

LSU New Orleans is seeking a Compliance Operations professional to serve as a subject matter expert on Louisiana Rulemaking, State Plan, and Medicaid administrative activities. The role coordinates publication of regulatory documents and ensures compliance with legislative requirements.

You will collaborate with the LDH webmaster and CMS state-facing systems, maintain document versions, and assist in training staff on policies, procedures, and public notices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or Associates degree with 3 years professional experience, or 6 years of professional experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience working with federal/state healthcare programs, Medicaid Support, or related field.
• Proficient in the use of Adobe Acrobat Pro as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Excellent analytical abilities, effective organizational and time management skills.
• Great attention to detail and follow up, and exceptional verbal/written communications skills.
• Works well both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to set, follow, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for Louisiana Rulemaking, State Plan, and Medicaid administration.
• Coordinate publication of Rulemaking and State Plan documents on the agency website.
• Consult with LDH webmaster and Policy staff to ensure timely publication.
• Manage CMS state-facing systems and transition documents to MACPro/OneMAC/MACFin/MMDL.
• Prepare meeting minutes and track action items.
• Maintain updates to policies, procedures, and training materials.
