Job summary

Agency for Health Care Administration in Florida seeks a Medical/Health Care Program Analyst to enhance the delivery of health care services through the Florida Medicaid program. You will research, develop, implement, and maintain Medicaid policies and related guidelines.

This role requires creativity, flexibility, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, located in the Bureau of Medicaid Policy. Remote work is not available; a collaborative approach with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• One year of experience developing health care related policies.
• One year of technical writing experience.
• One year of experience managing complex assignments.
• Preference will be given to applicants with two years of experience in program planning, research, or evaluation.
• Preference will be given to applicants with a bachelor's degree from a college or university.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge concerning all aspects of the Florida Medicaid program and related regulations.
• Analyze health care information to determine effects on the Medicaid program and compliance.
• Prepare reports and assist in legislative budget requests and program proposals.
• Develop and maintain program policies and procedures under the Florida Medicaid program.
