Job summary

Agency for Health Care Administration in Florida seeks a Government Analyst II to support Medicaid policy development, research, coordination, and evaluation under the Behavioral Health Transformation and Policy Development areas. This role is located in the Bureau of Medicaid Policy and requires the ability to work creatively, flexibly, and in a team-oriented environment.

The incumbent will assist with policy development, program analysis, stakeholder coordination, and implementation activities

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, development, and implementation of behavioral health redesign and transformation initiatives within the Medicaid delivery system.
• Support development of program structures and processes to improve access, quality, coordination, and cost-effectiveness of behavioral health services statewide.
• Assist in evaluating program initiatives to address service gaps and improve outcomes.
• Support system redesign activities through analysis of service delivery models, provider capacity, and network performance.
• Identify operational challenges and recommend program improvements to leadership.
• Monitor implementation progress and track transformation milestones and deliverables.
• Develop implementation plans, work plans, and timelines.
• Coordinate transformation initiatives across Agency divisions and partner agencies.
• Assist in developing and maintaining behavioral health program policies to ensure compliance with law and Agency goals.
