Job summary

The State of Florida, Agency for Health Care Administration, seeks an Operations & Management Consultant I to support Medicaid Quality. The role focuses on coordinating administrative functions, scheduling, travel processing, and preparing materials for senior leadership.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong organization, MS Office proficiency, and familiarity with data systems such as MFMP, STMS, and Flair to improve policy and quality outcomes within a fast-paced government environment.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of administrative/office clerical work experience.
• Three (3) years of experience managing a calendar/schedule.
• Three (3) years of experience with Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Three (3) years of experience with Statewide Travel Management System.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling for the Assistant Deputy Secretary for Medicaid Policy and Quality.
• Provide administrative support across Medicaid Policy and Quality divisions.
• Prepare briefing packages and materials for leadership.
• Monitor policies and procedures and advise on implementation.
• Oversee travel arrangements and reimbursements.
• Ensure timely completion of assignments and deadlines.
