Job summary

Agency for Health Care Administration in Florida is seeking a Government Operations Consultant III to shape Medicaid policy and strengthen program guidance. You will develop policy language for statewide initiatives, interpret federal authorities, and ensure timely communication to managed care plans.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience using Microsoft Office Suites.
• Two years of experience developing State or health care related policies.
• Two years of experience developing and writing high-level communications/documents for external distribution and/or public webpage posting.
• Preference given to Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) certifications and to candidates with professional writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain policy language for Statewide Medicaid Managed Care communications and provider alerts.
• Track and monitor routing and approval of policy documents to ensure timely deadlines.
• Prepare reports and synthesize research findings for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in development and implementation of program designs, projects, and plans to meet bureau goals.
• Coordinate consultative support to leadership and manage communications with partners.
