Mathematica is seeking an Advisory Services Analyst with Medicaid policy experience to support state or federal programs. You will work on monitoring and improving Medicaid policies across areas like eligibility, enrollment, demonstrations, and delivery quality, often leading 2–3 projects with direct client contact.

The role requires strong analytic skills in quantitative or qualitative methods, effective communication, and the ability to coordinate teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in data analytics, public policy, economics, statistics, public health, behavioral or social sciences, or related field; or a bachelor’s degree and equivalent experience.
• Strong foundation in quantitative and/or qualitative methods and a broad understanding of Medicaid program and policy issues.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to write clear policy/technical memos for diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead tasks or deliverables and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Lead or participate in multidisciplinary teams to support Medicaid policy and program implementation and monitoring.
• Apply analytic thinking to the collection and interpretation of quantitative/qualitative data.
• Provide direction and organization to keep projects on time and budget and facilitate communications with stakeholders.
• Contribute to growth and institutional knowledge of staff working in Medicaid area.
• Work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative environment across projects and tasks.
• Provide technical assistance and facilitate knowledge-sharing among states and audiences.
• Assist with quantitative analyses using Medicaid data to support monitoring or evaluation.
• Develop technical specifications and documentation to support reporting systems and tools.
• Author client memos, tools, briefs, analytic reports, and webinars.
