Job summary

Mathematica is seeking an Advisory Services Analyst with Medicaid policy experience at the state or federal level to support monitoring and improvement across eligibility, demonstrations, long-term services, and quality measures.

The role involves leading or collaborating on 2–3 projects, client contact, and delivering quantitative and qualitative analyses, documentation, and knowledge sharing. The base salary is anticipated at $70,000–$90,000 annually with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in data analytics, public policy, economics, statistics, public health, or related field.
• Experience with a state or federal agency, a foundation, or a health care organization; Medicaid policy/data desirable.
• Strong foundation in quantitative and/or qualitative methods and Medicaid knowledge.
• Excellent written and oral communication for diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to lead tasks and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in multidisciplinary teams to support Medicaid policy implementation.
• Analyze quantitative and/or qualitative data from Medicaid sources.
• Coordinate project work to keep on time and on budget.
• Contribute to staff growth and institutional knowledge in Medicaid.
• Support knowledge sharing and client communications.
