Job summary

Mathematica, Inc. seeks an Advisory Services Analyst- Project Manager focused on Medicaid/Marketplace projects. You’ll blend project management with technical assistance to improve public health program operations and healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities include directing projects on time and budget, designing data tools, analyzing performance and costs, and providing technical assistance to health agencies and providers. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or commensurate experience in operations or management roles.
• Strong management skills, capable of handling multimillion-dollar contracts.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Clear written and oral communication; ability to influence clients.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for project decisions.
• Experience in public policy or health programs.
• Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and organization to keep Medicaid projects on time and on budget.
• Conduct project management activities; plan and manage complex projects; design tools and processes to organize data and manage teams.
• Analyze projects to monitor performance, costs, resource use, and oversee subcontractors.
• Implement and maintain project collaboration tools: Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, and Excel.
• Provide technical assistance to state and federal health agencies, grantees, or healthcare providers.
• Draft workplans, client memos, technical documentation, proposals, and other contractual deliverables.
