Job summary

Mathematica is seeking an Advisory Services Analyst with Medicaid policy experience to support state and federal programs. You will work on 2-3 projects, often leading teams and engaging directly with clients to monitor and improve Medicaid programs across eligibility, enrollment, and delivery measures.

You will apply quantitative and qualitative analyses to Medicaid data, develop technical documentation, and contribute to client memos and analytic reports while coordinating with stakeholders

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in data analytics, public policy, economics, statistics, public health, behavioral or social sciences or related field.
• Experience with state or federal agencies, foundations, or health care organizations; Medicaid policy is desirable.
• Strong quantitative and/or qualitative methods foundation and Medicaid policy understanding.
• Excellent written and oral communication for diverse stakeholder audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead tasks and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in multidisciplinary teams to implement and monitor Medicaid policy and programs.
• Apply rigorous analysis to quantitative/qualitative data, including Medicaid data and site interviews.
• Provide direction to keep projects on time and budget and coordinate stakeholders.
• Contribute to growth and institutional knowledge in the Medicaid area.
• Collaborate in a dynamic, collaborative environment across projects.
