Job summary

Mathematica currently seeks an Advisory Services Analyst- Project Manager with a strong interest in project management for Medicaid/Marketplace work. The role blends project leadership with technical assistance to improve health program operations.

The candidate will manage multiple projects, design data tools, and support clients through webinars and reporting work to enhance program performance. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in public policy, public administration, business, or related field or commensurate experience.
  • Strong management skills; ability to monitor costs on multimillion-dollar contracts and lead teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and oral communication; ability to influence colleagues and clients.
  • Analytic and problem-solving skills with ability to apply critical thinking.
  • Experience in a similar field or position; interest in Medicaid/Marketplace program improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction to keep Medicaid projects on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate communications among project team, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Perform project management activities and design tracking tools and processes.
  • Monitor project costs, resource use, and subcontractor performance.
  • Offer technical assistance to state/federal agencies and healthcare providers.
  • Prepare workplans, memos, proposals, and data dictionaries.
