Job summary

Mathematica, Inc. is seeking an entry-level position to support teams conducting technical assistance, implementation support, monitoring and data analytics, and program evaluation across Medicaid policy areas.

The role involves assisting with data collection and quantitative analyses, coordinating with federal/state staff, and ensuring documentation and reporting systems are up to date. You will work on 2-3 projects and collaborate across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with coursework in data analytics, public policy, economics, statistics, public health, behavioral or social sciences.
• Foundation in quantitative and/or qualitative methods and understanding of Medicaid policy.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work with others.
• Interest in Medicaid research and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to federal and state Medicaid staff or related groups.
• Maintain technical specifications and user manuals to support reporting systems.
• Support collection and interpretation of quantitative and/or qualitative data for Medicaid research.
• Assist with quantitative analyses using Medicaid data to monitor or evaluate programs.
• Provide operational support to keep projects on time and within budget.
• Collaborate effectively in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment across projects.
