Arcadia Care in Springfield, IL seeks an accounting and payroll-focused professional to handle day-to-day financials and the full employee life cycle. You will support accounting operations, invoicing, reporting, and vendor/client file maintenance while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

Required: 3+ years in bookkeeping or accounting, and Medicaid/Medicare experience. A strong focus on policy adherence and staff coordination is essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high-school diploma, or its equivalent.
• Must have three (3) years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting practices.
• Experience with Medicaid and Medicare.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day accounting functions of the facility following applicable regulations.
• Manage the full employee life cycle for the facility.
• Recruit staff, conduct background checks, maintain files, and resolve employee relations issues.
• Advise department managers on policies and procedures in line with guidelines and regulations.
• Maintain invoices, reports, and accounting files; monitor accounts receivable.
