Nash County seeks an Income Maintenance Caseworker I to support FCMA and Adult Medicaid programs. Duties include processing returned mail, updating addresses and providers, and assisting with various reports and verifications.

The role requires attention to confidentiality and accurate data entry in NCFAST. Responsibilities span daily queue management, weekly and monthly reporting, and occasional back-up for FRR processing and phone coverage during absences.

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited Associate Degree in a related field or Human Services Technology.
• High school diploma with 2 years paraprofessional/public contact experience (Income Maintenance preferred).
• High school diploma with 3 years paraprofessional/public contact experience including data gathering and analysis.
• Ability to adhere to confidentiality rules and read policy documents.

Mansioni

• Log and document returned Medicaid cards, mail, and address changes in NCFAST and drive.
• Update provider information in NCFAST and enter Managed Care evidence.
• Process daily County Transfer work queue tasks and ensure benefit accuracy.
• Manage SDX Without Owner and SDX Exception work queues as directed by supervisors.
• Generate weekly Bendex/SDX Data Exchange reports and NCTRACKS/SSN verifications.
• Complete quarterly Interstate and VA Match Reports and monthly Death Match and SSI Term reports.
• Assist with FRR processing and back-up phone calls during absences.
• Close old/inactive Income Support and Insurance Affordability cases with proper merges.

Formazione

Associate Degree in Human Services Technology

High School Diploma + 2 years paraprofessional/public contact experience (Income Maintenance preferred)

High School Diploma + 3 years paraprofessional/public contact experience
