Job summary

Doc PersonalBeratung GmbH is seeking an Eligibility Specialist II (Non-MAGI) to determine Medicaid eligibility and re-determinations based on Department policies. You will collect and evaluate documentation from applicants and third parties to assess individual and family eligibility for the program.

The role requires handling confidential information in an in-office setting, following standard procedures, and completing all required determinations and reviews promptly with clear documentation

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree may substitute with relevant experience.
• Familiarity with computers, MS Office, and internet browsers.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Uses information sources and systems to collect, assemble, evaluate, and act upon information to determine eligibility.
• Maintains professional demeanor and clear communication with colleagues and beneficiaries.
• Attends mandatory meetings and trainings and complies with agency policies and privacy rules.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisory staff and agency leadership.
