Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Patient Access Associate to interview uninsured/under-insured patients at the West Reading, PA facility to determine Medicaid eligibility and assist with the required applications.

This on-site role supports collaboration with county/state partners and revenue cycle colleagues, enabling timely submissions and effective patient communication. Bilingual Spanish/English is a strong asset.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in healthcare interacting with patients.
• Understanding of the revenue cycle, billing, payments and denials.
• bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• CRCR certification within 9 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interview uninsured/under-insured patients to determine Medicaid eligibility.
• Assist with Medicaid applications and ensure timely submissions.
• Follow up on submitted applications for billing or adjustment processing.
• Document actions in patient accounting systems.
• Maintain knowledge of state and federal program requirements.
• Collaborate with Medicaid caseworkers and revenue cycle teams.
