Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in healthcare industry, interacting with patients regarding hospital financial issues.
• Must be inquisitive and open to innovation including AI to explore better processes.

Responsibilities

• Interview uninsured/under-insured patients to determine Medicaid eligibility.
• Assist with applications to facilitate accurate submissions and timely billing or adjustments.
• Document actions and communications in patient accounting systems.
• Maintain knowledge of state and federal program requirements and Medicaid processes.
• Collaborate with Medicaid caseworkers and other revenue cycle teams.
