Icarehn is seeking a full-time Medicaid/Resident Trust Bookkeeper to join their Business Office in Hartford, Connecticut. The Bookkeeper will manage accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate resident billing while adhering to Medicaid billing regulations. Responsibilities include preparing Medicaid claims, reconciling resident trust accounts, and supporting office functions. Qualifications
Knowledge of skilled nursing facility Medicaid accounts receivable processes and resident trust workflows.
Working knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel, PCC, and RFMS (experience preferred).
Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across disciplines.
Responsibilities
Follow established policies and procedures for accounts receivable bookkeeping.
Maintain, update, and monitor computer ledgers.
Compile and update ancillary information by payor type, date, and service type.
Prepare and submit Medicaid claims; monitor payments and follow up.
Reconcile accounts and prepare adjustments.
Skills
Knowledge of skilled nursing facility Medicaid accounts receivable processes
Working knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel, PCC, and RFMS
Ability to manage multiple priorities
