The ideal candidate has a strong background in Medicaid eligibility determination, billing, and reimbursement in a long-term care setting, along with excellent leadership and management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Medicaid coordination, billing, and reimbursement in SNF or long-term care.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Proven leadership and management skills; able to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide residents and families through Medicaid applications, ensuring accuracy of documentation.
• Coordinate with residents, families, and Medicaid offices to expedite processing and address issues.
• Monitor reimbursements and resolve billing discrepancies or denials promptly.
• Oversee daily business office functions, including billing, collections, and resident accounts.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and Medicaid regulations.
• Maintain records of applications, approvals, and denials; assist with internal audits.
