Job summary

Rose Mountain Care Center is seeking an experienced Business Office Manager to oversee daily business and financial operations, including billing, collections, trust funds, A/P, and reporting. The BOM will ensure regulatory compliance and provide superior service to residents, families, and staff.

Ideal candidates have NJ Medicaid experience, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accurate financial management and customer service within a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in NJ Medicaid applications and renewals.
• Knowledge of Medicaid eligibility requirements.
• Experience handling resident funds.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Update Census data for admissions and discharges.
• Manage payer trees in the EMR (PCC).
• Verify insurance (Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care).
• Disenroll and reinroll residents from Managed Medicare plans.
• Request authorizations from insurers for in-house residents.
• Assist with Medicaid applications and document collection.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and state regulations.
• Maintain resident files and post cash receipts.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on collections.
