Job summary

WBAL-TV, Baltimore, is recruiting for a Sales Account Associate, an entry-level sales training program designed to develop you into a Sales Account Executive. You will learn local television sales while applying strong communication and organizational skills.

You will train with top producers, work with WideOrbit and other sales platforms, and advance through a 9–12 month plan toward an AE role. Strong Excel and presentation abilities are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle the stresses of time-sensitive projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized and focused with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel for complex spreadsheets.
• Aim to become a media sales account executive in 9–12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist the development of sales proposals and client presentations.
• Create marketing materials for the sales department.
• Prepare proposals based on requests from account executives.
• Coordinate with sales, production, finance and external clients on campaigns.
• Enter and maintain orders and manage WideOrbit/WOCentral data.
• Manage the sales database and related records.
