Job summary

Hearst Television's WBAL-TV in Baltimore is seeking a Sales Account Associate as part of a 9-12 month training program to develop into a Sales Account Executive. You will learn all facets of local television sales while honing your communication and presentation skills.

Under the Local Sales Manager, you will contribute to training and campaigns, with hands-on experience in proposals, materials, and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Excellent social, intrapersonal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the development of sales proposals, advertising packages, and client presentations.
• Create supportive marketing materials for the sales department.
• Prepare proposals based on account executive requests.
• Communicate with our teams (sales, production, finance) and external clients on performance and delivery of campaigns.
• Enter and maintain all orders including electronic transfer and maintenance of WOCentral orders to WideOrbit.
• Manage sales database.
