Who You Are

You’re a marketing professional with experience researching, planning, negotiating, and buying traditional media, as well as measuring campaign results. You enjoy engaging with people, negotiating media deals to secure the best value, and working with marketing professionals to develop holistic strategies that include paid digital media, public relations, social media, SEO, creative, and websites. You can develop media strategies focused on traditional media tactics and measure campaign effectiveness to provide performance insights. Additionally, you have an understanding of digital marketing and programmatic media buying.

This is a hybrid position, working weekly in our Little Rock office and remotely.

Who We’re Looking For - Requirements/Responsibilities:

  1. Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  2. Strong negotiation and relationship skills.
  3. High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
  4. Experience in planning, negotiating, building partnerships, and buying linear media such as TV, Radio, Outdoor, Print, and Sponsorships.
  5. Experience with DSPs, Connected TV, and programmatic online radio is preferred but not required.
  6. Experience with co-op-funded advertising is preferred but not required.
  7. Detail-oriented with strong financial acumen and the ability to reconcile media financials.
  8. Experience in performance marketing with measurable outcomes.
  9. A curious problem solver energized to find answers and solutions.
  10. Excellent communicator capable of articulating media strategies to both experts and novices.
  11. Effective negotiator skilled in collaborating with media vendors to maximize client value.
  12. Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred but not required.
  13. Industry experience of 3+ years in media buying and planning.

What You’ll Do

As a traditional media expert within an omnichannel marketing team, you’ll be responsible for planning and executing media strategies for designated clients. Tactics may include TV, CTV, Radio, Online Radio, OOH, Print, and online media placements (e.g., display, preroll). You’ll also report on media performance, recommend optimizations, and reconcile financials monthly, working under the supervision of the Media Director.
