Job summary

Hearts & Science, located in New York, seeks a Media Finance Manager to serve as the primary contact for clients on all financial and billing matters across media campaigns. You will oversee daily financial operations, including budget management, forecasting, reconciliations, and vendor payments, while partnering with media teams and leaders to ensure timely deliverables.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required or equivalent work experience.
2+ years Media/Finance experience at a media agency preferred.
Strong Excel and financial system skills required.
Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
Experience with billing, forecasting, and reconciliations is a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee the full media billing lifecycle, ensuring spend is reconciled, validated, and billed on time.
Review and approve billing prior to client submission for accuracy and compliance.
Pull live data and prepare client billing packets, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting documents.
Ensure activity is entered and reconciled in DDS, D365, Mediaocean, PlanIt, etc., with data integrity checks.
Coordinate with offshore teams to manage workflows and reporting.
Identify process improvements and mentor Analysts for continuous improvement.
Support audits with necessary documentation and financial materials.
