Job summary

Fulton County Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional to support teachers and students in classrooms or media centers. Responsibilities include assisting with materials, small-group work, attendance, and library tasks; experience with Destiny Library Manager is a plus.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, passing the GACE para assessment (or equivalent hours and an Associate's Degree or higher). The role is on-site with day-to-day duties across school facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass the GACE para assessment; or 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours with C or better; or an Associate's Degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with educational materials and reinforce learning.
• Work with students individually or in small groups to support objectives.
• Handle daily routines: distribute/collect supplies, attendance, grading quizzes as assigned.
• Support lunchroom, hall-monitoring, bus duties as needed.
• Maintain bulletin boards and learning centers for instruction.
• Assist with media center tasks and library resources.
• Inventory media center materials and prepare displays.
• Circulate and collect student devices; generate overdue/lost book reports.
• Staff circulation desk using Destiny Library Manager software.
• Supervise and guide student assistants as needed.
