Fulton County Schools in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Paraprofessional, Instructional and Media to support teachers and students in classrooms or media centers. You will assist with materials, student instruction, library tasks and technology resources.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, ability to obtain Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certificate, and 0-1 year experience. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certificate.
• 0–1 year experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assists the teacher in preparing educational materials.
• Works with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Assists with daily routines: distributing/collecting supplies, attendance, grading quizzes.
• Participates in lunchroom, recess, hall-monitoring and bus duties.
• Maintains and updates bulletin boards and learning centers for instruction.
• Monitors library/media center use and assists with instructional tasks.
• Assists with locating and using media/technology resources and related equipment.
• Tends inventory and processing of new materials; assists with displays and exhibits.
• Supports circulation of materials using Destiny Library Manager Software.
• Directs student assistants in assigned duties as needed.
