Job summary

Fulton County Schools seeks a Paraprofessional to support teachers and students in classrooms or the media center. Duties include preparing materials, aiding learning in groups, handling routine tasks, and assisting with library operations using Destiny Library Manager.

Minimum education includes a high school diploma or GED, with Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certification required. 0–1 year experience preferred; pass GACE para or have equivalent semester hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass the GACE para assessment; or 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours with a grade of C or better; an Associate's Degree or higher is acceptable.
• Must be able to obtain Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in preparation of educational materials.
• Work individually with students and/or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Assist with all aspects of the daily routine like distributing and collecting supplies, attendance, and grading quizzes.
• Assist in circulation and collection of student devices and manage library materials.
