Job summary

Global Medical Response's Med-Trans division is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. You will work with a team of medical experts to safely transport patients to and from locations, ensure aircraft readiness, and maintain regulatory documentation.

A 14/14 schedule applies with a substantial sign-on bonus and on-duty housing. Minimum requirements include rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and a Class II medical.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Minimum: 2,000 Total Flight Hours; 1,500 Helicopter Hours; 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours; 200 Night Flight Hours (aided or unaided).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers with medical team support.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch in accordance with FAR and Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record-keeping.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to next pilot and team as per change board.
