Job summary

Med-Trans is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services, ensuring rapid, safe patient transport for customers. You will work with a team of medical professionals to coordinate flights and uphold strict safety and regulatory standards.

This full-time role offers a salary of $106,510–$117,162 (including a 20% geographic modifier), a $15,000 sign-on bonus, retention bonuses, on-duty housing, and a 14/14 schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate and an FAA instrument rating.
• Must hold an FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Significant flight experience required across total, helicopter, PIC, turbine, and night hours.

Responsibilities

• Work with a medical team to transport patients safely to and from locations.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per FARs and Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team following protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate

• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)

Preferred Qualifications

• EC130 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
