Global Medical Response is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transport for Med-Trans customers. This full-time position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to regulatory standards.

The role requires rotorcraft certification, instrument rating, and substantial helicopter flight hours, with a competitive salary including a geographic modifier, plus a $15,000 sign-on and retention bonuses. On-duty housing and a 7/7 schedule are included.

Qualifications

• Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum flight hours: 2,000 total; 1,500 helicopter; 1,000 helicopter PIC; 1,000 turbine helicopter.
• 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided or unaided).
• AS350 aircraft experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers safely with a team of medical experts.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch and comply with FAR/Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information per Med-Trans change board procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to Med-Trans customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training
